Sister Chat with Deb. Be. - Living Success Fully

Working Success - Part One: Self-Awareness

Debra Benjamin Season 1 Episode 2

Welcome back, lovely people. I'm so excited to have you listen to our first Sister Chat interview, Working Success, with Reverend Dr. Nicole Charles, CEO of Edgar Cayce's Association for Research and Enlightenment (A.R.E.)! Nickie, as I call her, is my friend of many years. I met her as a slam poet, "spitting her gift," in a gathering of women and totally blowing our minds. I felt compelled to speak with this force of nature, and we became fast friends.

Nicole is a multi-talented, brilliantly intelligent, highly spiritual sister, with an interesting "herstory." Our three-part discussion starts with this episode, focused on self-awareness and a personal journey to defining success on her own terms. True leaders are dynamic--always learning as much, if not more, than they teach and guiding by example. Rev. Dr. Charles shines the spotlight on:

  • how becoming a great leader is tied to transformative change
  • growth and the roadblocks that make it possible
  • allowing success and embracing deservability

Dr. Charles' success story is full of valuable lessons.  She shares some intriguing nuggets on how she got to this "enlightened" space. You are in for a treat, with three episodes for our discussion with Dr. Charles. Check out part two,  where we dive deeply into her evolution and spiritual leadership. Don't miss part three, which is all about the connection between spirituality, "soul work" and community.

This episode's Declaration: I AM stepping into my success. I keep dreaming, growing and winning! Repeat as is or adapt its positive energy to suit you, Remember to keep your Declaration in the present tense.

P.S. - Nickie's success story continues to grow to higher heights! She will be opening her spiritual center in April 2024. Visit Edgar Cayce's  A.R.E.'s website to learn more about Rev. Dr. Charles and the organization's mission.
